The personal protection we teach  is not a martial art as such but rather an eclectic mix of both mental and physical techniques which have been devised over a great deal of time and are relatively easy to learn by anyone as well as being highly effective, they are simple by nature and with some regular practice can quite easily become part of a persons gross motor functions which means they can be applied in a confrontation naturally and without to much conscious thought, courses can be arranged simply by contacting Sensei Dave Gibson who will be delighted to discuss your own personal requirements and along with the other senior instructors of Kyusho Scotland design a specific course to suit your needs.

The techniques we utilise on these courses make use of specific principles which when applied to the techniques make them come alive and most of them have been personally pressure tested by several of the instructors who have jointly spent many years working within the security industry , so unlike many advertised courses we have a formula which through varied experiences really works. Not only this but by using our specific principles an aggressor can humanely be brought under control without any undue pain or injury which is something of which we are justifiably proud.
